We met Tamara Repina when many artists were looking for unusual directions in art. We started the International Festival of monotypes. Since then, Tamara has become its permanent member. Tamara Repina is an artist who is always on the lookout. The theme of her works is in close connection with the method of images. She successfully engaged in easel painting and graphics.
Her art brings great importance to the texture of the paint layer. She turns imagery into things fantastic and fabulous. In a fantasy structure, it leads the viewer into his unusual world. The composite structure of her works is always clear, in spite of the quaintness. Tamara turned to monotype technology in tune with its nature. Plasticity monotypes, its spontaneity and associative accuracy are the new key in the works of Tamara Repina. I think these qualities are very attractive to work on illustrations of the magical creations.
